We are a residential okiya or geisha training school in the virtual land of SecondLife. Our intent is to present information pertaining to geisha way of life and to honor the work of the professional women who were true geisha.

If you are a student of the okiya, you will use this website for the foundation of your geisha training lessons. Complete and submit the assignments to your mentor or Okasan in SL. Write a short comment in the forums pertaining to each lesson.

If you are not in SL and interested in this geisha lifestyle and training information course, please send a message to Okasan at suzlog@hotmail.com and ask for full access. Donations are happily accepted as a way to support the cost of this site.

  • 3 chapters for the shikomi for introduction to the okiya, roleplay, meet & greet others in the okiya

  • 9 chapters for the minarai lessons that include preparation for misedashi and a final exam.Class Discussions

  • 11 chapters for the maiko lessons that include preparation for erikae and a final exam
• Geisha Lessons (not developed as yet)
  • 7 geisha lessons are planned including a final examination
• Lesson Forums
  • A place to hold short discussions and post comments. It is like a message board. Messages in forums are usually displayed in chronological order or as a threaded discussion. Your comment may be a response to someone or a new comment pertaining to the corresponding lesson
• Class Discussions
  • Discussion transcripts or paraphrase of SL class time
• Literary Contributions
